If you watched the most recent episode of ghost hunters international you will notice that they considered the Ragdoll School to be haunted. What was the evidence

• 1 Class B EVP directly after a question (answering something either ‘..yes’ or ‘..west’, or anything that ends in a ‘..es’
• 1 Class D EVP some ambient noise then “… go away” which is somewhat unclear
• 1 Still Frame Photo of Orbs and an alleged face

I was happy listening to the review until this still photo that Brian had. It was shown to us briefly and I said “dust”. Then Donna on the show mentioned something about having an “XY chromosome” to see this face. Donna has definitely tried to do better and be less afraid and more skeptical. Then we were shown two photos side by side. I still couldn’t see whatever they are talking about, and I’m use to looking at pictures people say have this.

Bottomline is that if you have a picture with orbs in it, unless those orbs are clearing emitting their own light and proven not to be a natural light source don’t show the photo. Here is why, you are showing one still frame it has been proven time and again that one frame can have dust, water varpor, breath, fingers, camera strings, purple monsters, flying one-eyed beasts, and carnivorous turkeys. Digital photography for all that it is has horrible problems with still shots CCD have defects and always will. Regular film doesn’t have the same problems but it is still prone to light refraction and problems with the observer effect. No Orb hunters, if I wanted that I can go to anyone’s po-dunk “I hunt ghosts daaar website.”.

Now the Belgrave Hall run through was actually pretty good. I was happy to see them go our and debunk the security video. My initial reaction to that video was look at the frame rate, it could easily be a great many things. They also found a squeeky board that was whistling and a bunch of other little things that really made me happy. The evidence was the following.

• 1 EVP CLASS C A direct response to a question
• 1 EVP CLASS D A very light “shh” which could be anything
• 1 Strange Video

Now the said this place was haunted… I don’t know about that. Looking at the Strange video Robb mention flashlight. It clearly looks like that. Even with them saying motion sensors not going off, no one back there. Two things, how does he know no one was back there? Didn’t he mean no one on his team was back there, we didn’t account for anything. How secure was that area? I know I’ve been bushwacked before by some people sleeping in the woods. The other thing is the imperfect nature of motion sensors. I don’t know if you have actually tried to use these things but the cheaper ones have horrible field problems.

For one if you move slow enough you can actually not trip the sensor, I’ve done this time and again for fun outside my house. Another problem is that … well here is a chart I made to explain.

Now depending on how they setup the motion sensor it could be made to just catch people within 3 ft of the building where as if you were farther away you could easily walk under the active area. Depending on if these people were smart or not they could of set them up wrong. Another common way to set them up is from a certain height down, etc. Motion sensors don’t mean much.

Overall GHI is looking better as long as they stay away from the hokey stuff.
